About Simone

Simone is a supply minister in the United Church of Canada, a writer, web designer and visual artist living in beautiful Bear River, Nova Scotia. Originally from Eastern Ontario, she and her family settled here in 2002.

Simone’s paintings, photographs and sculptures may be found in galleries and private collections across Canada, the U.S. and overseas. She sits as an active member of ARCAC (Annapolis Regional Arts Council), Director for the Board of Trade and is the founder and the Artist in Residence at The Bare Canvas Gallery and Studio Co-op where her studio is now located.

Simone is married to award winning film-maker Tim Wilson, and is mother to three wonderful boys and Jack, the Wonder Poodle!

    Simone, you look so much like the girl I remember. Looking at your picture brought me back in time to when we were young girls in highschool. I’d say remember when but that would really date me. You’re life looks so rich and full, and your children are beautiful. Congratulations on all your success.
