The landscape and cultural theology of Nova Scotia has become the foundation of Simone’s work. She believes that colour and texture can speak to the immediate human experience. As such, her paintings explore emotional responses to abstract space, colour, to the sensuousness of texture, line upon curve, and elements of earth, fire, water , wind- and salt.
Simone’s paintings and sculptures may be found in galleries and private collections across Canada, the U.S., Europe and Africa.
